Taking Action in Appalachia and Iceland A two-part evening with two special guests. First,
learn about the dire situation at Marsh Fork Elementary School in West Virginia, where children
spend each day in the shadow of 2.8 billion gallons of toxic coal mining
waste. Ed Wiley, an ex-coal miner, will speak about the devastating toll
that mountaintop removal mining is having throughout the Southern Appalachian mountains.
